The opportunity
Working in the Integrated Mobility team at EY offers fantastic opportunities to develop client relationships early on in your career and to be involved in the day-to-day management of relationships and delivery of our services across a broad range of issues above and beyond tax compliance and advisory.
We are looking to grow our Mobility Services team with an Assistant Tax Adviser who can deliver high-quality services to our clients.
Your key responsibilities

1. Supporting in the management of clients with inbound expatriates to the UK and UK outbounds.
2. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing consistently high levels of client service.
3. Contributing to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients.
4. Contributing to the day-to-day delivery of client services both tax compliance and advisory.
5. Contributing to the successful delivery of mobility tax projects and ensuring technical excellence.
6. Facilitating workflow to colleagues in the UK and our offshore compliance processing centre.
7. Adhering to Quality and Risk Management processes.
8. Being a trusted member of the team by developing yourself and others
Skills and attributes for success
9. Prior experience as an expatriate tax practitioner is desirable, but not essential. Candidates with transferable skills and experience will be considered as will those looking for their first step into a career in Mobility.
10. Enthusiastic and energetic; able to embrace new ways of working.
11. Team player: ability to integrate with new teams quickly
12. Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to deliver quality output
13. Strong technical skills or keen to develop them
14. Ability to build strong client relationships
15. Project management skills, plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget
To qualify for the role, you must have:
16. ATT/CTA qualification desirable, however support can be offered to candidates seeking to study towards a professional qualification
17. Ability to identify areas of risk, carry out an effective review and know when to refer upwards
18. Client-focused and commercially aware
19. Relationship management skills with the ability to manage client expectations
20. Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically
21. Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
22. Essential proficieny in Japanese langauge
Ideally, you’ll also have:
