We’re looking for a Practice Support Coordinator to join our Portman Dentex team and help ensure our dental practices receive first‑class support. This is a key role at the heart of our operations. You’ll be the go‑to person for coordinating maintenance, repairs, and compliance visits—making sure everything is scheduled smoothly and communicated clearly to both clients and contractors.If you’re someone who loves coordinating the moving parts, enjoys helping people, and thrives in a busy, team‑focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing


Key Accountabilities:

1. Coordinating and booking appointments for engineers and contractors across multiple dental practices
2. Clearly explaining the purpose and scope of works when arranging visits
3. Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
4. Working closely with dental practice staff to understand their needs and minimise disruption
5. Keeping accurate records, schedules, and documentation
6. Managing a varied workload, balancing priorities and deadlines
7. Staying calm under pressure and resolving urgent issues when they arise
8. Keeping everyone informed of changes, delays, or updates

What We're Looking For


To succeed in this role, you will ideally have a calm, solutions‑focused approach, especially during busy periods and high attention to detail and accuracy, as well as:

9. Experience in facilities management, property services, or a similar coordination role (desirable)
10. Fantastic organisational and time‑management skills
11. Excellent verbal and written communication
12. Confidence building relationships with clients, engineers, and colleagues
13. The ability to explain technical or operational tasks in a clear, client‑friendly way
14. Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
Other Attributes:
15. Client‑focused with a strong understanding of great service
16. Proactive, adaptable, and always one step ahead
17. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at different levels

18. Salary: £25,397
19. 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets
20. 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
