ROLE OF DEPARTMENT

* Support and develop the firms IT systems so it meets the demands of the firm, enabling us to meet our business goals and objectives
JOB PURPOSE
* Ensure the stability, performance, and security of the firm’s IT infrastructure.
* Support and maintain core systems including Citrix, Visualfiles, storage, and backup solutions.
* Contribute to infrastructure projects.
* Support the firm’s strategic goals through scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Maintain and support Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
·Support and troubleshoot Visualfiles case management systems, including upgrades, integrations, and customisations.
·Provide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
·Monitor and manage server, storage, and network infrastructure across multiple office locations.
·Assist in storage utilisation, ensuring efficient capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution.
·Maintain backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and business continuity.
·When required collaborate on infrastructure projects and system improvements.
·Ensure compliance with legal industry standards and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
* Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are advantageous.
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
* 2+ years’ experience in the relevant domain
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
* Strong experience withCitrix orCitrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
* Hands-on experience withVisualfilesadministration and support.
* Background inlegal IT environmentsor professional services firms.
* Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals.
* Experience withstorage management(e.g., SAN) andbackup technologies(e.g., Veeam, Commvault, or similar).
* Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Full, clean Driver’s Licence
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
* Experience with ITIL practices and service management tools.
* Familiarity with legal applications such as Visualfiles, SOS or any alternatives
