About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Trainee Service Technician to join their dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of their customers’ operations. Some of your responsibilities will include:
4. Installing and commissioning vehicle testing and workshop equipment, including brake testers and detectors.
5. Performing preventative maintenance and servicing on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
6. Diagnosing and repairing faults in complex machinery with electrical and computer-based components.
7. Providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers when required.
8. Maintaining accurate service documentation to meet manufacturer and safety compliance standards.
About You
The successful candidate will have: (Trade qualification desired, but not required)
9. 1+ year of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, or automotive servicing.
10. Current Open Driver’s Licence with manual transmission driving experience required.
11. Motivated to learn a side of the industry that most people would never get to learn.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
13. Excellent communication and customer service skills to maintain strong client relationships.
14. Experience servicing or installing automotive workshop equipment or industrial machinery.
15. Your own basic tools will be required for this position.
