Compensation
Salary: up to £40,000 pa plus £500 per month Car Allowance and Annual Bonus.

London / National - Flexible with base location.

What you’ll be doing
* Lead performance optimisation initiatives by identifying cost‑saving opportunities and implementing plant improvements
* Partner with operations teams to upgrade equipment and optimise settings while securing strong supplier guarantees
* Develop business cases for recycling sector growth and create technical designs including PFDs, mass flow analyses, and facility layouts
* Coordinate design progression with stakeholders and evaluate plant/machine performance
* Ensure regulatory compliance and industry standard adherence
* Deliver clear technical communications through professional reports and presentations
What we’re looking for
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in engineering (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, or Electrical) or the waste management and recycling sector
* Proven track record in developing feasibility studies and business cases for projects
* Strong background in sorting/recycling processes and related industries
