Senior Accountant

Puro Associates are currently seeking an experienced either a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join an established accountancy team. Responsibilities:
* Managing your own portfolio of clients with a turnover up to £4 million
* Preparing and filing year end accounts under both FRS102 & FRS105
* Preparing corporate tax returns
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Overseeing bookkeeping & VAT returns
* Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary
* Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development
Requirements:
* MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS UK ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE EXPEREINCE (Please note that working in a private company is not relevant experience for this role & applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered)
* AAT/ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified
* Experience working with a variety of clients
* Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
