Job Title: Water Resource Planner
Location: Falmer (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Salary from £40k
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the development of our long-term water strategy and drought resilience planning.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the development of our 50-year Water Resource Management Plan and 5-year Drought Plan.
* Researching and analysing future water supply needs, availability, and cost-effective management options.
* Interpreting regulatory requirements, customer insights, and stakeholder feedback to inform planning.
* Drafting business cases for regulatory submissions and funding proposals.
* Preparing and presenting materials for internal and external audits.
* Conducting security of supply assessments in collaboration with compliance and operations teams.
* Representing the company in external meetings, forums, and workshops with regulators and industry partners.

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operates a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office and home.
