Front of House Coordinator / Receptionist — Hove
Part-Time Position
The Beauty Place is an award-winning, luxurious clinic just off Palmeira Square in the heart of Hove. We specialise in advanced skincare and offer premium treatments using systems such as Environ, Lynton IPL, Dermalux, Lumenis Radio-Frequency, Dermapen Micro-Needling and Hydrafacial. Our clinic has an outstanding reputation for delivering a superior client experience, with exemplary standards, attention to detail, and highly personalised care.
We are seeking a professional, personable, and organised Front of House / Receptionist to join our friendly, collaborative team. This is a pivotal role, as you will be the first point of contact for clients and a key part of ensuring our clinic runs smoothly.
We are also open to qualified beauty therapists seeking part-time hours covering reception/front of house, as well as treatments.
Hours
* Tuesday afternoons
* Fridays
* Alternate Saturdays (5pm finish)
Some flexibility is required to cover occasional annual leave or sickness, supporting the team and ensuring a seamless client experience
Responsibilities
* Greet clients and create a welcoming, professional environment reflecting the high standards of the clinic
* Manage bookings, enquiries, and follow-ups through our digital scheduling system
* Provide personalised skincare recommendations and exceptional client care
* Assist with light cleaning and maintaining presentation, hygiene, and safety standards
* Support therapists and management with day-to-day clinic operations and administration
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in reception, front of house, or customer service
* Positive, professional, and personable, with excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
* Confident using digital booking systems and basic office software
* Beauty salon or aesthetics clinic experience is highly desirable
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion
* Able to multitask effectively in a busy environment and work independently
* Enthusiasm for skincare, beauty, and results-driven treatments
Desirable / Advantageous Skills
* Sales experience or meeting targets
* Team management
* Previous knowledge of using Phorest software
* Previous knowledge of Environ Skincare
