Offer description

Role Summary

Due to the continued expansion of the Exeter Nightingale Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), now entering Phase 2 of development, we are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Radiographer to join our team.

Part of this role has arisen due to increasing patient demand for imaging using the only EOS scanner in the South West. EOS is a dynamic, bi‑planar, photon‑counting, slot‑beam, low‑dose X‑ray system, particularly well suited to paediatric and adolescent scoliosis imaging.

The post also includes deputising for the Site Superintendent Radiographer, working closely with them to maintain and further develop the high‑quality service for which the site is well respected locally.

This is a multi‑site role, with an expectation to rotate across Exeter Nightingale CDC, Wonford Hospital, Heavitree Hospital, and other RDUH sites as required. Clinical areas include:

1. Emergency Department
2. In‑patient imaging
3. Orthopaedic out‑patients
4. Theatres
5. Mobile/portable imaging

The role also involves the support, training and supervision of students, apprentices, and Band 5 radiographers.

This is a genuinely varied and interesting role where your contribution will add real value to the patient journey, within a supportive and friendly team.
