At DerbyMoor Spencer Academy, we take great pride in the facilities that we offer our students.Our school was re-built in 2013 and now features a welcoming entrance plaza,state of the art technology and a diverse range of learning spaces and sportsfacilities.
We are seeking to appoint an individual:
* To work betweenDerby Moor Spencer Academy (3 days per week) and other Derby-based SpencerAcademy Trust (2 days per week).
* To work directlywith families, pupils and school staff to identify and address barriers toeducation.
* To be responsiblefor gathering and preparing documentation when legal action is required due topoor school attendance.
* To support theAcademy’s strategy to improve pupil attendance and ensure student welfare.
* To balanceproactive intervention, family engagement, data analysis, and multi-agencycollaboration to promote regular school attendance and safeguard pupils'well-being.
* To be part of thecover / buddy rota for First Aid provision (training will be provided) in theabsence of the Primary First Aider.
