About The Role
Would you like to be part of an innovative free school within a nationally renowned multi-academy trust? An organization that nurtures your talents and provides high-quality ongoing professional development.
Outwood Academy Riverside is an 11-16 provision that opened in September 2020 as part of the Free Schools Programme. As part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, the academy provides an exceptional environment for young people in our local community, with a focus on Students First: raising standards and transforming lives. Riverside is a supportive and caring community that values kindness, compassion, and developing talents.
Each academic year, all students are inducted into the Riverside values programme, which teaches them to master their emotions, develop wisdom, become kind and compassionate, and uphold values like truth, integrity, and courage.
The academy maintains high academic expectations, challenging students and staff to be their best, regardless of prior attainment or background.
This rewarding position involves primarily teaching Year 7 and 8 Maths, suitable for someone with primary classroom experience or a secondary teacher strong in Key Stage 3. A passion for working with students with SEN is essential.
Staff may be deployed at both the current site in Middlesbrough and the satellite site in Eston.
