Interim Management Accountant | Remote-first | South West Based
£250-£300 per day | 3-6 Months | ASAP Start
Robert Half are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a business based in Cornwall that is currently undergoing an exciting period of finance transformation. This is a remote-first interim role, however candidates must be based in the South West and able to travel to the Cornwall office on an occasional basis - roughly once or twice a month. The Role
The finance function is being significantly rebuilt - new processes are being designed, documented and embedded, and the team structure is evolving. This is not a routine interim assignment. The business needs an experienced Management Accountant who can deliver a reliable and accurate set of monthly accounts whilst simultaneously supporting the development of new finance processes and ways of working.
You will need to onboard quickly, work independently, and bring genuine resilience and adaptability. The environment is fast-moving and changeable - that should excite you, not concern you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production of a full set of monthly Management Accounts
2. Supporting the redesign and documentation of finance processes
3. Working closely with internal stakeholders to embed new ways of working
4. Maintaining accuracy and consistency of financial reporting throughout a period of change
What We're Looking For
5. Proven Management Accounts experience, ideally within a fast-paced or transforming business
6. A process improvement mindset - able to both deliver and improve
7. Resilient, self-sufficient and comfortable with ambiguity
8. Quick to onboard and happy to ask the right questions
9. South West based with the ability to travel to Cornwall periodically
10. Available at short notice
