Prosperity Children's Services are delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant. This role is a full-time office-based position, working from our friendly head office in Accrington.
Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
* Entry of invoices onto Xero accounting system
* Accounts payable and sales ledger reconciliation
* Invoicing Local Authorities for Residential care and outreach work
* Invoicing Local Authorities for Education provision
* Chasing invoice payments and debtors list
* Management of Residential Home budgets and expenses
* Bank and expense account reconciliation
* Management of outreach costs
* P11D's
* Management of office expenses
* Additional financial administrative tasks as required.
Essential Requirements for the role
* At least 2 years of experience in Accounts payable
* At least 1 year using Xero or an equivalent package
* Previous experience with Xero of similar accounts package
* Proficient in Excel
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proven strong numeracy skills
* Proven organisational and time management skills.
* Ideally have experience working within Residential Childcare or Adult care facility.
