Welder / Fabricator Location : Bolton Salary : £30,000 to £34,000 (dependent on experience benefits) Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm A well-established engineering manufacturer that designs and builds bespoke machinery for customers worldwide is looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join its team. The business supplies specialist machinery to customers in over 30 countries and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. The Role of the Welder / Fabricator The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality stainless-steel fabrications in line with engineering drawings and project specifications. Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator • TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel frames to specification • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings • Cutting, shaping and assembling materials accurately • Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements • Using workshop machinery and fabrication tools safely and efficiently • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Requirements of the Welder / Fabricator Time Served Welder / Fabricator At least 2 year’s experience as a Welder Fabricator Strong TIG welding experience Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and hardworking with good timekeeping Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing or workshop environment Benefits of the Welder / Fabricator • Competitive salary £30,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience • Annual bonus including Christmas bonus vouchers • 30 days holiday including bank holidays plus Christmas and New Year shutdown • 4% employer pension contribution • Monday to Friday working hours • Modern workshop environment • Supportive and close-knit team • Training and development opportunities This is a great opportunity to join a growing engineering business with a strong order book and exciting projects ahead.
