The South Locality Service, based at Etrop Court in Wythenshawe, are looking for an experienced team manager to join their leadership team. You will have leadership experience within a duty service, child protection and court service. You will be skilled in supporting and developing social workers, offering reflective supervision. You will have experience of effective performance management, supporting social workers with statutory compliance and case management, direction and oversight. Your social work skills and statutory knowledge will contribute to the overall development of the service.
Your role will add additional capacity within the leadership team and support parts of the service with the most demand.
Responsibilities
You will join an established team of 12 team managers across the whole locality, with 2 service leads and an assistant director heading up the service. You will receive monthly supervision, access to training and development in your management role. Each team consists of 2 advanced practitioners and 4 social workers.
You will receive IT equipment and training as part of your initial induction to the service. There is free car parking available.

Qualifications
* DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
* Social Work England registration
* Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
* Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
* Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
* Possess knowledge of service needs.
* Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
* Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
* Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
