Responsibilities
* Support the successful delivery of a large monthly payroll for a secure account.
* Process payroll-related data accurately and on time, ensuring a high standard of quality and control.
* Handle worker, supplier and client queries relating to payroll, onboarding and compliance.
* Carry out right to work and new starter compliance activity, onboarding and offboarding tasks.
* Maintain records and update relevant systems, including payroll and vendor management processes.
* Provide support across invoicing, self-billing, purchase order updates and credit control activity.
* Work closely with the wider payroll and compliance team to maintain continuity and reduce operational risk.
* Contribute ideas to improve processes, strengthen controls and enhance the way the team works. This role sits within a government aligned environment, which means successful candidates will need to go through a security clearance process.

Qualifications
* Experience working with payroll data and time-sensitive processing activity.
* Strong attention to detail and confidence working with sensitive information.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries professionally and clearly.
* Good Excel and systems capability.
* Understanding of compliance processes such as right to work, onboarding and worker documentation.
* A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the confidence to take responsibility and support others.
* Previous experience in a regulated, secure or process-driven environment would be advantageous.
