Our Client is a respected national contractor operating across surfacing, infrastructure, aviation, rail, education, healthcare, and public realm sectors. With multiple offices throughout the Southeast and East Anglia, they deliver high-profile projects and maintain strong industry partnerships.
Roles/Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a dispersed team of 5+ Business Development Managers
* Own and drive commercial performance across the Southern region
* Enforce CRM best practices, accurate forecasting, and pipeline management (Pipedrive)
* Conduct joint client visits, structured performance reviews, and ongoing coaching
* Partner closely with operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
* Build and strengthen relationships with major contractors, local authorities, consultants, and frameworks
* Implement a high-performance sales culture aligned with business growth goals
Qualifications
* 3+ years’ experience managing external sales teams across multiple locations
* Proven ability to drive revenue growth, accountability, and commercial discipline
* Background in construction, civil engineering, or technical sales
* Data-driven leadership style with experience improving remote team performance
* Strong communication skills with a confident, structured, coaching-oriented approach
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement at all levels
