Main duties and responsibilities:
* Maintain the quotation and bid register using ERP System, ensure information is accurate
* Ensure bid dates are known and adhered to
* Support the development of accurate cost estimates of both labour and materials from concept drawings and sketches, task descriptions and proposal documents
* Upload bids to client portals where applicable
* Working with supply chain to develop estimates and / or drawing on historical cost records and modifying as necessary
* Submitting official quotations to clients
* Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business.
* Sustain a safe and clean working environment.
* Comply with all company procedures and policies.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Previous estimating experience required
* Experience of working in the Engineering Services industry preferred
* Proven ability of liaising with customers
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment against customer driven deadlines
* Ability to understand engineering drawings
* Proven ability to pay close attention to detail
* Basic fabrication / weld overlay knowledge preferred
* First rate communication and organisation skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload
* Proactive, flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude’
* Strong team player
* IT literate with specific experience using Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint programs.
