Marketing Executive Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Marketing Executive to collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing Teams in ensuring the successful launch, localization, and optimization of products through coordination of timing and launch calendars, creation of visual marketing assets, and delivery of assets to the sales team and wider trade partners. The role involves coordinating all marketing efforts, both at trade and consumer level, responsible for communicating best practices with our retail partners, growing the awareness of Blokees in the UK and Irish markets through our brands and product ranges. This role reports to the UK Sales Manager, based in Gloucester. This position is remote.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Gate keeper for all brand assets and files: regular flow to the trade
* Sell sheets and presentations – ensure that they are constantly updated
* Regular liaison with China marketing and Product teams
* Work with the trade press to create editorial content and paid advertising features
* Main contact with local influencers: coordinate in a timely manner for new releases
* Sample co-ordination for customers and trade / consumer shows
* Preparation of trade and consumer events: Toy Fair, Toymaster Show, Autumn Fair, Transformers Nation
* Active use of social media to raise awareness for new releases and the Blokees brand: enhance Blokees profile across both trade and consumer channels
* Ensure our online execution is best in class: work with customer online / digital teams to ensure they have all the assets.
* Product tests and reviews: work with Amazon Vine, annual awards entries; best toy awards, kidults toys, etc. ,
* Educational programs: work through key accounts to promote best practices for on shelf execution, new product releases (both trade and consumer).
* In store events: support activities such as “speed-building”, competitions, etc.
* Where to buy: promote all current channels
Competencies / Requirements:
* Good knowledge of marketing concepts and principles at trade and consumer level
* Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Strong communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* In-depth understanding of digital and social marketing best practices
* Go-getter mentality
* Commercial acumen
* Full Driving license
Ideal Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar marketing role for consumer goods and services ·
* High-Level computer skills including being well versed in the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point) ·
* Degree educated – ideally Business and / or Marketing ·
* Ability to work full time – remotely (Southwest and Midlands region preferred)
