GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming school in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils in developing critical digital skills and a strong understanding of computing concepts.
As a Computer Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
* Encouraging problem-solving, programming, and computational thinking skills.
* Managing classroom behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to tailor learning approaches.
* Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external partners to support pupil development.
To be successful as a Computer Science Teacher, you should:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level or equivalent.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Be passionate about technology and committed to student success.
* Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
* Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
