The Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our network of exceptional educators. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about sport, physical education, and student wellbeing, and who can inspire students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Encourage participation, teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement
* Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school sporting events
* Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching PE within secondary education (preferred)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
