This role offers the chance to work autonomously while representing a respected name in the sector. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored technical solutions that meet customer needs across Stafford, Walsall, and the surrounding West Midlands area. This is an ideal position for a sales professional who thrives on building long-term customer relationships and enjoys working with cutting-edge automation and control technologies. Key Responsibilities · Develop customer-focused technical solutions and generate new business opportunities. · Prepare accurate and competitive sales quotations to meet client requirements. · Work independently to deliver on company sales targets and regional objectives. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and product developments in automation and control. · Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and suppliers. · Support the wider sales team and contribute to overall business growth. About You We’re looking for someone who is: · Experienced within Industrial Automation and Control, with solid knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) (Not essential to have all). · Results-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment. · A confident communicator, able to engage effectively with clients at all levels. · Organised and proactive, capable of managing a varied workload across multiple projects. · IT-proficient, with experience using modern digital tools to support sales activity. · Based within easy reach of Stafford, Walsall, or nearby areas to support client visits and regional meetings.
