What's the Opportunity
We are looking for a Principal Engineer to further expand our team and lead projects. We offer a range of projects for both public and private sector clients with schemes varying from typical commercial developments up to large scale infrastructure and complex development schemes.
What you need to do to be effective in this role
* Ability to lead projects of various sizes and complexity
* Manage resources to ensure effective and timely delivery of work
* Interface with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects i.e. architects, building services engineers, project managers and cost managers
* Undertake project administration and financial management
* Identify new opportunities for work and prepare proposals for tender
* Represent Ridge through external liaison with Clients, stakeholders and approving bodies
* Manage and co-ordinate highways and drainage designs relating to large development infrastructure projects
* Provide Pre-planning advice and services to client including Flood Risk Assessments (FRA's), Drainage Strategies, and other Pre-Planning advice
* Provide day-to-day client interface, conducting site visits for technical assessment or problem-solving
