If you are looking for a change and want to use your skills in a rewarding role, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC) is seeking colleagues to join our Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team.
We enjoy what we do and are proud to make a positive difference to the mental health of our local young people, especially now. We are looking for a colleague with a similar mindset.
Our preferred candidate will have an administrative background, with a keen eye for detail and experience using all Microsoft Office packages. The right candidate will need excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills, with experience speaking to people at all levels of an organisation.
Experience of working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment would be beneficial. However, if you believe you have the right skill set and are motivated, we are happy to train and support you to become part of this unique team.
The service is in high demand. We seek colleagues who want variety in their work, responsibility, quick action, and thrive on accuracy.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive team, managing your workload to support service delivery.
The Administrator will work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), supporting effective administration of the young person’s pathway through the service, from referral to treatment. This role helps provide an efficient, comprehensive clerical and administrative service.
Responsibilities include understanding referral to treatment pathways, taking appropriate actions where pathways are incomplete to ensure children and young people receive necessary treatment and interventions, and adopting a flexible team-working approach to ensure objectives are met efficiently and within timescales.
You should be able to plan and take responsibility for your own work by understanding the flow of work and priorities within the service.
The qualification, training, and experience requirements are detailed in the Job Description/Person Specification.
We have a dedicated workforce of over 5000 colleagues across various services, sites, and in people’s homes. We strive to create a welcoming workplace that values civility, inclusivity, and diversity, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
Our staff surveys and engagement opportunities allow our people to share their experiences. In the latest survey, 61% of colleagues provided feedback, with highlights including:
* 72% would recommend the Trust as a place to work, ranking 1st among Provider Trusts in the South West.
* 76% would recommend the care provided if a friend or relative needed treatment, also ranking 1st in the South West.
* 81% said patient and service user care is the Trust’s priority, compared to 64% in similar NHS Trusts in England.
These scores indicate our strong position and good staff engagement, though we continue to strive for improvement. We are committed to becoming a Great Place to Work, aiming for top-quartile performance in staff surveys.
