Equans is looking for an Account Manager to join our team covering sites in Dudley and Bristol. This is a permanent, full‑time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Ensure high quality service delivery across the range of services provided by Equans by applying professional expertise and management control.
* Ensure financial performance is achieved on the contract to meet agreed targets for turnover, profit and cash collection.
* Ensure a sound commercial understanding of the contractual deliverables across the contract and provide leadership to the site team.
* Work with the senior management team and client to develop and agree strategies that meet the service provision demands, in line with the client contracts and Equans objectives.
* Review and continuously improve service delivery to meet changing requirements.
* Promote and foster a culture of continuous improvement whereby improvements to service delivery and commercial value are identified and implemented.
* Ensure effective working relationships with internal and external customers to maximise operational excellence and growth opportunity.
* Lead and direct the contract team to operate a performance culture, driving improvement, retention and increased employee engagement.
* Support the development of direct reports and the wider team through regular reviews and training.
* Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe environment for all employees, the client and patients.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Possess extensive operational management experience.
* Have strong customer focus.
* Have commercial experience.
* Have a technical bias.
* Have previously held P&L responsibility.
* Possess proven people management experience.
* Have strong operational and performance management focus.
* Have strong communication skills.
* Be numerate, analytical and financially aware.
* Have strong planning and time‑management skills.
* Be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the basic principles of M&E systems.
* Have demonstrable abilities and clear experience in supplier contracts negotiation.
* This role includes a DBS Standard check; therefore the ability to pass is essential.
