Contract Harvest Supervisor – Salads (FTC 6–8 Months) - Warwickshire / Leicestershire - March Start
The Job:
- Planning and coordinating daily and weekly harvest schedules
- Managing harvest workflow to meet production and delivery targets
- Supervising harvest teams and seasonal workers on a day-to-day basis
- Allocating labour efficiently and adapting plans to weather and crop conditions
- Implementing agreed processes and procedures across harvest operations
- Overseeing quality checks, monitoring standards, and compliance
- Ensuring health & safety and food safety requirements are followed
- Liaising with management and wider operational teams
The Company:
A leading fresh produce business is looking to appoint an experienced Contract Harvest Supervisor on a fixed-term contract of 6–8 months, starting in March, to oversee harvest operations during the peak season.
This is a key seasonal role focused on workflow management, planning, and people supervision, ensuring harvest activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards.
The Candidate
- Previous experience supervising harvest or fresh produce operations (salads desirable)
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Confident managing seasonal teams in a fast-paced environment
- Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working extended hours during peak periods
