We are currently recruiting for a Plates Administrator to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a varied administrative role supporting vehicle dispatch and collection processes within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring vehicle documentation, collections, and customer communication are handled accurately and efficiently.
The Role:
As a Plates Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out general office and administrative duties
2. Supporting vehicle collection and dispatch processes
3. Processing vehicle-related paperwork and updating internal systems
4. Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
5. Assisting with customer queries and resolving issues professionally
6. Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal departments
7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation
8. Supporting the wider operational team where required
9. Undertaking occasional vehicle movements when needed
The Person:
10. Previous administration or office experience preferred
11. Strong communication and customer service skills
12. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems
13. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
14. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
15. Professional and confident telephone manner
16. Reliable and flexible approach to work
17. Full UK Driving Licence preferred
