Role Description
We are seeking an Accountant to support our Finance & Treasury Centre operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will gain exposure to full-set accounting, treasury reporting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, cash flow management and SAP-based financial operations.
Responsibilities
* Maintain full set of accounts and General Ledger (GL)
* Prepare annual financial statements
* Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
* Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements
* Prepare management reports and internal financial reporting
* Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
* Prepare withholding tax and other tax submissions
* Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities
* Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
* Maintain accounting records in SAP ERP system
* Assist in financial analysis and reporting for management decision‑making
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* At least 2 years of work experience
* Prior experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, treasury operations, financial institutions, or professional services environments will be an advantage
* Experience in SAP would be an advantage
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
* High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
