The unit primarily performs musculoskeletal imaging as well as neurological, body, gynaecological, prostate & cardiac imaging including the delivery of:
* One stop clinics:
Ø Back pain
Ø Prostate evaluation
* MSK Sports Injury Clinic
* Springbok Analytics
You would be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to expand our service.
The department is equipped with a Siemens 1.5T Aera.
Darcy Healthcare is supported by the MRI Physics group, based in Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB)

Job Purpose
You will deliver high quality magnetic resonance imaging for a varied caseload.
The Role / Candidate
You will be an experienced radiography professional with experience in MRI:
Essential
* DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
* HCPC (Health Care Professions Council) Registration
* Broad experience in a range of MR imaging
* Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an MR imaging role
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Desirable
* SOR IV injection certificate of competence
* CMR experience
* Welsh Language Skills
* Evidence of participation in quality improvement initiatives

* Attention to detail & high standards of clinical practice
* Effective time management & ability to prioritise tasks
* Problem solving skills &ability to adapt to challenging situations
* Commitment to continuous professional development & lifelong learning
* Perform MRI procedures in compliance with local policy & industry regulations
* Assess & understand a wide range of clinical information from a variety of clinical disciplines
* Possess a sound knowledge of MRI Safety Principles
* Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians & other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, high quality diagnostic imaging
* Perform examinations autonomously
* Ensure that images acquired are of the highest diagnostic quality
* Provide both internal & external guidance to queries from professionals, referrers & public
* Assist Darcy Healthcare in fostering a culture of learning & development
* Adherence to infection prevention & control policies
* Maintain patient/ client confidentiality
