Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking a dedicated Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team and work with a highly reputable client based in Basingstoke. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
1. Position: Class 2 HIAB (Grab) Driver
2. Contract: Temp to Perm (12-week temp period)
3. Start Date: Immediate start available
4. Working Days: 06:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
5. Shift Length: 9 hours per day (1-hour unpaid lunch)
6. Responsibilities: As well as performing daily vehicle checks, identifying any issues and raising them to the company, you will be responsible for daily merchant deliveries, including drainage supplies, concrete drainage blocks, etc. You will also be required to assist the company in other duties as required.
What You Need:
7. Licence: Full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement (No more than 6 penalty points)
8. Certifications: CPC Qualified, with Digital Tacho. Must also have HIAB (Grab) qualification (preferably ALLMI, but others will be considered)
9. Experience: Relevant demonstrable driving experience
10. Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities are required. Whilst delivering to customers, you are the face of both the company and Driver Hire.
11. Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to work
