These needs may include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing needs, social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH), or general learning difficulties.
You may be assigned to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis, work with small intervention groups, or provide in-class support to ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout lessons. Your role will be practical, hands-on, and highly relational, requiring patience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
This is not a desk-based role. You will be actively involved in classroom activities, emotional regulation strategies, playground support, and structured learning interventions, all while working closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals.
