<div><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Specialist Mental Health Law Practitioner for Norfolk.</p><p>Working alongside the counterpart in Suffolk, the postholder will be an expert in all aspects of mental health legislation.</p><p>The post holder will work across NSFT sites in Norfolk to provide hands‑on support to clinical staff and specialist advice to the Associate Hospital Managers.</p><p>As a key contributor, the successful applicant will help ensure that NSFT meets its statutory obligations and supports forthcoming changes to the MHA, reporting to and deputising for the Deputy Head of Mental Health Law for Norfolk and supporting senior leadership in the Mental Health Law Team.</p><p>The role focuses on supporting mental health law administration as it relates to clinical practice and assisting with strategic leadership on mental health law matters.</p><p>Cover will be provided for the Suffolk counterpart, ensuring consistency across the Trust and collaboration on joint projects.</p><p>Successful candidates will be dynamic, self‑motivated and passionate about safeguarding vulnerable individuals.</p><p>Applicants must have in‑depth knowledge of the MHA, MCA and DoLS with experience working within a complex health or social care organisation.</p><p>NSFT offers training and professional support, ongoing development opportunities and a supportive, welcoming team environment where you can thrive.</p><h3>Why work for us?</h3><p>We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work, and need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey.
