VIQU has partnered with a leading organisation seeking a SAP Senior Enterprise Architect to join their Technology team in Nottingham. This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of enterprise-wide architecture across ERP, finance, and logistics, shaping strategy and driving large-scale transformation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, influence key decisions, and lead the evolution of complex technology landscapes including S/4HANA. This role is ideal for someone operating at enterprise level who can confidently align business outcomes with technology direction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and evolve enterprise architecture across ERP technologies, including optimisation of S/4HANA and migration from legacy systems
* Define target architectures and transition roadmaps aligned to strategic business priorities
* Provide architectural leadership across major Finance and Logistics programmes
* Act as a senior design authority, reviewing and approving solution designs
* Collaborate with business leaders to shape IT strategy, investment decisions, and roadmaps
* Contribute to architecture governance and continuous improvement of EA practices
* Ensure alignment with enterprise standards including integration, data, security, identity, and platform strategy
* Mentor and support architects, driving consistency and development across the team
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience delivering SAP-centric or ERP enterprise architecture within large, complex organisations
* Strong enterprise-level experience across strategy, roadmaps, and investment decision-making
* Ability to translate business strategy into clear technology direction and outcomes
* Experience influencing senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong understanding of finance and or logistics systems and how they integrate across wider architecture
* Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes, with S/4HANA desirable but not essential
* Previous leadership or line management experience
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
