The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Manager, you are responsible for the execution of the product strategy. Working with our property transaction products you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and executing the product and marketing objectives. The role will be responsible for capturing market requirements, building business cases, and working with the development and operations teams to lead the realisation of customer benefits. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be defining product features and acceptance criteria, scheduling the deliverables, overseeing the execution of the deliverables and working with the Product Portfolio Director to define goals and KPIs.
The role will involve:
13. Maintain an up-to-date product roadmap fed by insight from customers, focus groups, and market research as required
14. Define the product proposition from an epic down to user story level and partner with the wider delivery team to ensure that features and customer requirements are clear.
15. Champion product performance, maintaining focus on metrics ranging from revenue to usage, traffic, and registrations to inform future product decisions
16. Attend sprint planning and review meetings throughout delivery and be available to guide effective backlog refinement and champion the product vision.
17. Support the Product Portfolio Director with commercial agreements including terms & conditions, pricing, and licensing.
18. Work with Product Marketing to devise and execute comprehensive Go to Market plans, creating collateral content, participating in webinars and outbound campaigns, as well as speak at industry events as applicable.
19. Understand the competitive landscape and maintain close relationships with key strategic customers
20. Support strategic sales opportunities, including contributing to RFP processes as required
21. Provide regular and accurate reporting to the Product Portfolio Director, showing evidence of performance to revenue, penetration, and retention KPIs
About You
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager that can deliver value across multiple channels, can refine market feedback into clear requirements, and is confident working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You must be able to build strong relationships with customer groups and colleagues to deliver sustainable value within the roadmap. You will also have:
22. Experience of managing digital products in the property sector is highly desirable.
23. Degree qualified or equivalent experience with product management training is preferable.
24. Market research and competitor analysis skills.
25. Comfortable with analysing metrics to find opportunities to improve product performance.
26. Outcome oriented, with strong time management skills. Does not delay achieving perfection.
27. Ability to unite and inspire the organisation behind a clear product vision.
28. Ability to run focus groups and facilitate requirements among a range of disparate customers.
29. Experience of working in partnership with Product Owners to drive timely delivery.
30. Strong influencing skills; has the ability to motivate without organisational authority.
31. Flexible and resilient – able to adapt positively to changes in the market and Company.
32. Experience of managing Go to Market campaigns and promoting both internally and externally.
