TPF Recruitment are supporting an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Paddock Wood, who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their experienced team across a general accounts and tax position.
As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will report directly into the Directors and be responsible for a mixed client portfolio made up of small business owners through to billionaires. You will be based in an amazing office in a rural location in Paddock Wood and also have the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours. This is a great position with an excellent practice with a modern culture who promote a great work life balance. Full time or part time applicants will be considered.
You will be responsible for:
* Prepare annual statutory accounts, corporation, partnership and personal tax returns.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts and VAT returns.
* Managing your client portfolio and client relations.
* Oversee and review the work of more junior staff and bookkeepers.
* Onboard new clients and assist the partners with ad-hoc consulting and systems implementation work as required.
Requirements
* You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice.
* You will have worked as a Senior Accountant within a practice environment and have hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT.
Benefits
* £55,000 - £65,000, based on experience
