ROLE: Shift Supervisor – Electrical Bias
LOCATION: Swanwick, near Fareham
HOURS: Early & Late Shift Pattern
Week 1: 06:00–15:00
Week 2: 14:00–23:00

We’re looking for a Shift Supervisor – Electrical Bias who will lead Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in delivering a multi‑skilled maintenance service across HV and LV systems, ensuring compliance with statutory, mandatory, and safety requirements.
Role responsibilities
* Supervise Mechanical and Electrical Engineers delivering multi‑skilled maintenance across HV and LV disciplines.
* Oversee High Voltage and Low Voltage switching operations following Mitie Safe Systems of Work.
* Attend and successfully pass a recognised High Voltage Appointed Persons Course (mandatory for the role).
* Complete in‑house training to provide cover for the Facilities Management Service Co‑ordinator when required.
* Manage your team, perform maintenance, repairs, modifications, and installations to maintain plant reliability and performance.
* Ensure all KPIs are achieved and engage with contractors or external suppliers as needed.
* Complete all paperwork accurately and produce timely reports.
* Work to high company standards, reporting deficiencies that may affect safety, service delivery, or the environment.
* Ensure all work (your own and your team’s) is completed safely, diligently, and professionally.
Required qualifications
* Appropriate and up‑to‑date training certificate such as AM2.
* 2391 Test and Inspect qualification.
* Good knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
