Assistant Site Manager (Internal Applications only)
Location: Workington office, Site based around Cumbria, typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week
As Assistant Site Managers for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to customers and the team every day. This varied role offers the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled professional trade team in a secure environment with long-term contracts and potential for growth and learning.
You will utilise your Site Management skills in Social Housing and Planned refurbishment works, while looking for ways to add real social value to the communities and customers you work with. You will be supported by peers, team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions to grow and develop relationships and revenue.
While ensuring the smooth running of multiple designated sites, you will ensure all site personnel carry out their tasks efficiently and effectively to enable contracts to be completed on time, with zero defects, within budget and with no risk to Health & Safety of the team, the Client or the general public.
An outline of your responsibility as a Assistant Site Manager

The successful Assistant Site Manager will have experience in Planned refurbishment works within Social Housing/tenanted properties and have a good working knowledge of internal and external refits, managing delivery through to completion/hand over. You will be able to manage a few sites at any given time with commercial awareness to ensure costs meet budget requirements. Strong communication skills to build relationships with Clients and Tenants alike. You will need a Full UK driving licence to travel to sites daily. You must hold SMSTS or associated NVQ, and be confident with IT and proficient in MS Office. The role will also require a DBS check.
