Overview We are seeking experienced Offshore Renewable Mechanical Technicians to join our team. This role involves a variety of maintenance and inspection tasks on the Transition Pieces (TP) of offshore wind turbines. Candidates must be within daily commuting distance to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, covering a 2 week on, 2 week off rotation offshore from April 2026. Key Responsibilities Navigation Light Maintenance: Perform routine checks and repairs on navigation lights to ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations. TP Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of transition pieces, documenting findings and recommending necessary actions. Asset Cleaning: Carry out cleaning and maintenance of turbine components to enhance performance and prolong asset life. General Support: Provide auxiliary support to other team members and departments as required to maintain operational efficiency. TP Snagging: Identify and rectify any outstanding issues or defects during inspections to maintain the integrity of the wind turbines. Weather Day Onshore Support: Provide assistance and support during weather days onshore as needed, maintaining communication with offshore teams. Cross-Group Assistance: Be available to assist with work across the Stowen Group as necessary, contributing to teamwork and operational needs. Working Conditions Role requires offshore work in potentially challenging weather conditions. Will involve physical activities, including working at heights. Flexibility in working hours and shifts will be required. Requirements Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification. Strong commitment to safety protocols and best practices in offshore environments. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team setting. Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
