GSL Education are seeking a QTS Primary Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Weymouth, Dorset. Key Responsibilities for the QTS Primary Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary national curriculum.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECT status, or a recognised overseas teaching qualification.
* Previous experience in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
* A strong understanding of primary curriculum expectations.
* A commitment to raising achievement and fostering a positive learning experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
