Cover Supervisor (with Sports/PE Cover)

Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Middlesbrough. This role will include general classroom supervision as well as covering Sports and PE lessons, making it ideal for someone with a passion for physical education and experience coaching children.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes of up to 30 students in the absence of the teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support PE and sports sessions, encouraging participation and teamwork.
Manage classroom and sports hall behaviour in line with school policies.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience supervising groups of students (ideally in a classroom or sports setting).
Coaching experience with children or young people is highly desirable.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to engage and motivate learners across a range of subjects.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).Why Join Us?
