We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team of committed educators in the Bolton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their professional journey in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Position Overview
As an ECT, you will deliver high-quality lessons and play an integral role in supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. You’ll benefit from guidance, mentorship, and access to a variety of teaching experiences across local schools.
* Contract: Full-time
* Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
* Daily Rate: £120 – £160 (depending on experience and placement)
* Start Date: Summer Term roles available immediately; full-time positions from September 2025
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress
* Support the academic, emotional, and social growth of students
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to enhance pupil outcomes
Candidate Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), or due to qualify by September 2025
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for teaching and learning
* Willingness to reflect on practice and embrace professional development
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
