Our client—a res pected regional contractor—seeks a skilled Project Manager to deliver fit-out refurbishment retail construction schemes for major national brands across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and the wider East Anglia region.

You will take full responsibility for planning, procuring, and delivering multiple retail construction projects from PRE-CONTRACT THROUGH TO HANDOVER, ensuring every store opens safely, on time, and to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
* PRE-CONTRACT PLANNING Prepare procurement schedules, design release programmes, enabling works plans, and tender documentation
* COMPLIANCE & BRAND STANDARDS Ensure all works meet employer requirements, building regulations, and specific retail brand specifications
* cost and programme management Work with QS teams on procurement, budgets, KPIs, and maintaining construction programmes
* project administration, risk registers, and delivery plans for on‑time store openings
* QUALITY & CIMS COMPLIANCE Maintain quality systems, drive continual improvement, and uphold CIMS processes
* HEALTH AND SAFETY Develop RAMS, H&S plans, SWMP, fire plans, inductions, and ensure safe working on fast‑track sites
* LEADERSHIPLead project teams, manage subcontractors, mentor junior colleagues, and chair progress meetings

To succeed, you will need:
ESSENTAIL
* Proven experience delivering food retail construction fit‑out, or refurbishment projects
* Strong programme, planning, and site management capabilities
* Knowledge of construction techniques, building regs, and structural principles
* Strong communication and negotiation skills for retail stakeholder management
* IT skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook (Asta Powerproject desirable)
