To support the delivery of our vision we have created a new position for an Account & Business Development Manager dedicated to our Home and Living business unit within our UK sales team. This is a field-based role, with our UK office based in Birchwood, Warrington.
Business Development Manager UK
Role responsibilities for:
Expansion, development and support of existing customers and channels included account and marketplace management
Building a new customer base and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop and ensure regional strategy to achieve sales budget and deliver growth targets for assigned territory
Market and competition analysis and active identification of new sales opportunities
Discovering growth opportunities to help the company identify new sales
Effective definition of customer needs and provision of comprehensive solutions
Independent conduct of commercial negotiations
Developing communication with customers and maintaining a positive brand image
Attending shows and events
Assisting and coordinating activities related to Key account
Requirements and skills:
Proven track record in sales in the same or similar industry selling to professional retail buyers
Experience with marketplaces (Preferably experience with managing Mirakl Shop)
Strong customer focus and passion for sales and openness to new sales opportunities
Ability to build interpersonal relationships
Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in relation to contracts and service agreements
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Excellent time management skills
Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and CRM
