You'll be responsible for delivering commercially focused quantity surveying and related support across our programmes, ensuring effective relationships with portfolio team members and stakeholders, and contributing to the successful delivery of portfolio objectives.
Responsibilities
* Commercially focused quantity surveying with familiarity of Think Project (CEMAR).
* Manage Main Contractor relationships and understand Public Procurement Regulations.
* Support programme development through early budgetary estimates.
* Develop effective relationships with portfolio team members to support attainment of team objectives.
* Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure adoption of functional processes.
* Apply quantity surveying best practice in portfolio delivery and provide functional SQE support to wider programme delivery.
* Undertake reviews of contract adherence and contract compliance audits across programme delivery.
* Support the commercial function in evaluating, negotiating tenders, contract changes and compensation events.
* Contribute to development of preliminary, initial and main gate business case submissions.
* Provide senior management with appropriate reports to support decision-making.
* Act as contract-specific quantity surveying expert in price validation, agreement and dispute resolution.
Requirements / Qualifications
* RICS membership or equivalent with substantial experience using NEC form of contract.
* NEC 4 Accredited.
* 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Degree level or HND/HNC; Chartered status.
* Be able to obtain SC Clearance.
* Digital savvy, with ability to build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
