Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Scaffolder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident fixing and dismantling scaffolding structures on various construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The successful applicant will possess a range of technical skills and experience in the scaffolding industry.
Duties
* Erect, modify, and dismantle complex scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
* Inspect scaffolding for stability, safety, and compliance throughout the duration of the project.
* Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, heating engineers, and electricians to facilitate seamless project execution.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding components accurately.
* Ensure all scaffolding is secure and safe for use by workers at various heights.
* Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
* Assist in training junior team members when required, sharing expertise in advanced scaffolding techniques.
Skills
* Proven experience in advanced scaffolding roles within construction environments.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations related to working at heights.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to plan scaffold layouts efficiently.
* Physical fitness to work at heights for extended periods and lift heavy materials safely.
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and site managers effectively. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring specialised skills in scaffolding construction while ensuring safety remains paramount throughout all operations.
