We are seeking a driven Private Client Tax Manager to join our client's high-performing team, with a focus on managing a portfolio of over 200 private clients including High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), trusts and international clients. This is a pivotal role offering a blend of compliance and advisory work, with real scope for progression and business development.You will work closely with Partners who have each progressed through the ranks from Manager level, offering a collaborative environment where your career growth is actively supported. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to step into a leadership role while maintaining strong client-facing responsibilities and contributing to the strategic direction of the private client function.Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a complex portfolio of 200+ private clients, with a particular emphasis on international HNWI tax matters
* Oversee and deliver high-quality personal tax compliance services, ensuring deadlines and expectations are consistently met
* Provide tailored tax planning and advisory services, including residence, domicile, offshore structures, and succession planning
* Identify opportunities for additional services and proactively support business development initiatives
* Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact for tax-related matters
* Lead, mentor, and develop junior staff to support ongoing team development and service delivery
* Liaise directly with Partners, gaining hands-on experience and visibility at the top level of the firm
About You:
* CTA, ACCA, ICAS, ATT or equivalent qualification
* Significant experience in private client tax, with strong knowledge of international HNWI matters
* Proven ability to manage large client portfolios and balance compliance and advisory responsibilities
* Commercially aware, with a proactive attitude towards business development
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build client rapport
* Demonstrated leadership experience and a collaborative approach to working within teams
