Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
* Assisting with mobility and transfers within the home environment.
* Monitoring service user’s conditions and reporting any changes to the management team.
* Assisting with meal preparation.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for service users, including cleanliness of the service user’s home to meet health and safety requirements.
* Light fires or operate other sources of warmth.
* Ensuring good quality of life by utilizing home facilities for tasks like laundry and dishwashing.
* Undertaking essential shopping when required.
* Administering and recording medications.
* Assisting with the collection of medicines from the pharmacy when required.
Skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Please note that we are willing to train you if you have limited work experience and can also offer COS (Tier 2 visa sponsorship). However, you must have worked with us for 6 months to be considered. We are keen on candidates who have a valid driver’s license and their own car, already resident in the United Kingdom.
