By creating memorable events and successful fundraising campaigns, you will enable us to reach more people in the community, offer free workshops and support groups, and campaign for positive change in workplaces, schools, and healthcare settings. Your contribution will help ensure that no one feels isolated or unsupported in their journey, and that more people have access to the information and help they need when they need it most. At a time when demand for our services is growing rapidly, your role will be essential in securing the sustainability and growth of our work.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns and events that generate income and raise awareness for Endometriosis South Coast.
* Coordinate logistics for events, including venues, schedules, suppliers, and volunteers.
* Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet income targets.
* Build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and local businesses.
* Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including sponsorships, partnerships, and grant funding linked to events.
* Collaborate with the founder, trustees, and volunteers; lead with creativity and initiative.
* Ensure a positive participant and supporter experience and align activities with the organisation’s mission.
Qualifications and qualities
* Organised and proactive; able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and see projects through from start to finish.
* Creative and enthusiastic; brings fresh ideas for fundraising activities and community events.
* Strong communication skills; confident in speaking and writing to engage supporters, donors, and partners.
* Collaborative; enjoys working as part of a team and building positive relationships with volunteers, businesses, and community groups.
* Comfortable with outreach and networking to engage potential supporters, sponsors, and partners.
* Adaptable and flexible; able to adjust plans as needed.
* Passionate about the cause and about improving awareness, support, and care for people with endometriosis and related conditions.
* Experience in fundraising, event planning, or community engagement.
* Open to volunteers from all backgrounds and levels of experience, with willingness to learn and contribute energy and commitment.
