Join our dedicated and supportive team at Forest Lodge Vets, where continuity of care and serving our local community are at the heart of everything we do. You'll have the opportunity to foster long-term relationships with clients, delivering seamless care from start to finish, while enjoying the clinical freedom to make the best decisions for your patients, every day.

Our modern, well-equipped practice is designed to support your professional growth, with continued learning and development encouraged. Located in the beautiful New Forest, with easy access to Bournemouth and Southampton, you'll enjoy a fulfilling career and the perfect work-life balance in a stunning setting.

Embrace Clinical Independence and Continuity of Care

We prioritise continuity of care and clinical autonomy, with regular 15-minute consultations that allow ample time for thorough case workups. You'll have the freedom to make informed decisions and follow through on your cases from start to finish, all while being supported by our experienced team.

We're looking for a veterinary surgeon who takes pride in being a well-rounded small animal vet, with a genuine passion for building strong client relationships and providing compassionate care. A friendly, enthusiastic, and team-oriented individual, you'll have the opportunity to shape this role around your strengths and interests. With a focus on ongoing learning and CPD, we foster an environment where you can thrive.

Ideally, you'll already have some experience in practice and be ready for a new challenge, with the confidence to work independently at our Lymington surgery, though support is always just around the corner from our nearby main site.

Flexibility That Fits Your Lifestyle

Our rotas are split to enable consulting and operating times to be equally shared within the team. There is no weekday OOH, our weekend rota is currently 1 in 6, 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sundays off.

Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that's why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to our rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are at in your career.

Our state of the art facilities

At our state-of-the-art practice, we're proud to offer a range of advanced diagnostic tools, including Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, K-Laser, and an in-house lab with direct links to IDEXX, as well as our own dedicated Lab Tech. With separate dog and cat areas, an isolation unit, and a strong focus on continuous improvement, we're always striving to expand our services and implement positive changes to enhance the care we provide.

As an RCVS accredited first opinion practice, we have a well-established team of 4 FTE vets, each with their own special interests, from skin care and medicine to emergency care and imaging. We strongly support ongoing professional development, offering a generous CPD budget and actively encouraging certificate studies to help you grow in your career.
