The role:
Global X ETFs Europe is seeking a Head of Product to join our highly motivated and dynamic team in London. They will be responsible for the overall Product Development, Management and on-going enhancements of the UCITS ETF business Jersey ETP Programme. They will also be responsible for managing a team of individuals in the London office.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Leading and coordinating the strategic roadmap for ETFs as well as the end-to-end product design, development, launch, and ongoing oversight for ETFs in partnership with the broader teams
* Partnering with key stakeholders in Europe and globally to efficiently execute new ETF product ideas
* Own the ongoing product management to ensure the ETF product suite remains competitive, is properly positioned to address commercial growth opportunities, and in compliance with the latest regulations
* Keeping up to date on major developments in the industry (regulations, tax, competition) that create new opportunities or challenges to our ETF platform and business
* Technical project management of new product design and structuring, changes to existing ETFs, evaluating, and identifying conversion opportunities, as well as helping drive and oversee infrastructure requirements for broad ETF product initiatives (working with capital markets, investment teams, distribution, legal, tax, compliance, finance and operations)
* Managing a team of individuals within the product team
Required Skills and Experience:
* University degree
* In-depth knowledge of the ETF industry, client channels, capital markets, vehicle mechanics, and infrastructure requirements through previous experience in ETF product management
* Experience within European domiciled ETPs, in particular Digital Assets
* Experience with synthetic funds would be a benefit
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
* Strong project management and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
* Strong technical skills including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with industry data, vendors, operating models, etc
